1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data is:
SLOWTECH S.R.L.
VAT no. 05774380280
Registered office: Via Ludovico Ariosto, 36, 35128, Padua (PD), Italy
Email: build@slowtech.it
2. What data we collect
We process personal data in the following cases:
- Data you provide through the contact form: name, email address and message (required); company and role (optional). This data is sent to us only if you fill in and submit the form, giving your consent.
- Browsing data and technical logs: to operate and secure the website, our hosting providers may automatically record technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of the request). This data is not used to identify you.
- Anonymous traffic statistics: we use a cookieless analytics tool that collects aggregated and anonymous data (e.g. number of visits, pages viewed, country of origin) and does not profile individual visitors or make them identifiable.
We do not collect special categories of data (sensitive data) and we carry out neither profiling nor automated decision-making.
3. Purposes and legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to requests sent through the contact form and managing the conversation that follows | Consent of the data subject and/or performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.a / 6.1.b GDPR) |
| Ensuring the operation, security and abuse prevention of the website | Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
| Aggregated and anonymous statistical analysis of traffic | Legitimate interest of the controller; does not involve processing of identifying personal data |
4. Providers and recipients of the data
To deliver the service we rely on providers acting as data processors:
- Web3Forms — sending and delivering contact-form messages.
- Vercel — publishing and distributing the website.
- Vercel — anonymous traffic statistics.
Some of these providers may be based outside the European Union (e.g. the United States). In that case the transfer takes place on the basis of adequate safeguards under the GDPR (e.g. the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses).
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Retention period
We keep contact-form data for as long as necessary to handle your request and for a reasonable period thereafter (24 months), unless legal obligations require otherwise. Technical logs are kept for the time strictly necessary for security (6 months). Statistical data is anonymous and aggregated.
6. Your rights
As a data subject you may at any time exercise the rights set out in Articles 15–22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal).
To exercise them, write to build@slowtech.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.gpdp.it).
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy over time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
